Reporting to Country Manager Kenya, the role is entrusted with several key areas, including operations setup, compliance and control, advocacy, strategic partnerships, and policy development.
1. Operations Setup: This involves designing and implementing operational processes, workflows, and supply chain logistics to ensure seamless production, distribution, and after-sales services. The aim is to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and deliver high-quality products to customers.
2. Compliance and Control: Maintaining compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and legal requirements is paramount in the electric bicycle sector. assumes the responsibility of ensuring that all operations adhere to relevant laws and regulations. This includes product safety standards, environmental regulations, data privacy, and other industry-specific requirements.
3. Advocacy: Promoting the benefits of electric bicycles and advocating for favorable industry conditions is another significant aspect of the role. collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to raise awareness about the advantages of electric bicycles, such as environmental sustainability, health benefits, and reduced congestion. 1. Delivery of Supply metrics; OTFINE, Volume, CFR, CRR, Distribution cost Per 9L in line with F25 ambition
2. Effective management, measurement, evaluation and optimization of 3PL services with an annual spend of £21.36M over 5-year period as defined in Warehouse and Yard and Transport management contract.
3. Owning the Diageo Growth Model [DGM] and embedding the 4 pillars – Net Revenue Management, Supply Chain Planning, Every Day Great Execution [EDGE] and Performance Management. Developing and implementing Supply strategies, processes and tools.
4. Responsible for Performance Excellence MOVE; Run The Business- Daily, weekly Functional Review Meetings with 3PLs structured to identifying and analyze trends that help for direct problem solving; Improve The Business – BPM, SPMs and ITFs that provide a codified approach to manage Strategic improvements, Providing a service that is “Fit for Purpose” to both MAKE and Commercial sections of the business and monitoring 3PL activities and responding to needs of the site.
