  • Engaging Maasai Mara Wildlife Conservancies Association (MMWCA) member conservancies and land stewards to implement sustainable grassland monitoring and management practices, landscape protection and restoration, improve vegetation and prevent deforestation, resulting in carbon sequestration and net carbon benefits.

VIKTORY VOLUNTEER PROJECT

  • Activities included volunteer work in schools, as well as environmental conservancy.
  • Working in approximately 5 schools that were within the Mashonaland region of Zimbabwe in an area known as Kariba.
  • The schools were in areas where there was conflict with animals as it is as open area reserve with communities living there.
  • Operating the wildlife conservation course for six weeks, and in total, worked with over 500 students from all the schools.
  • Collaborating with KAWFT that is Kariba Animal Welfare Fund Trust and Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority who we did snare sweeps, patrols and herd counting with in the Nyanyana National Park Reserve and field conservation research.

  • The role involved working under the advocacy and legal representation department and partially in the program management department.
  • Research, as well as organization and drafting of briefs..
  • Organizing the Children's Conference in 2015 that was sponsored by UNICEF which brought together 200 children from different counties all over Kenya i.e Turkana, Kwale and even Tana River.
