  • Was face and representative of AATF in Lower Eastern Kenya (Machakos, Makueni and Kitui)
  • Represented AATF in governmental and non-governmental forums and Agro-based stakeholders’ meetings
  • Carried out National Performance Trials on 60 developed maize hybrids on their adaptability and suitability to prevailing climatic conditions in Lower Eastern Kenya
  • Marketed approved Drought TEGO WE1101 maize hybrid in Lower Eastern through establishment of demo farms, conducted field days, road shows and under tapped on agricultural events organized by various stakeholders in Agricultural industry.
  • Increased WE1101 market share from 0 – 40% within 4 years
  • Recruited Field Staffs who were in charge of recruiting farmer groups, demo farms establishments, routine data collection and organizations of farmer field days in different stations
