Intergovernmental Relations Lead. Successfully coordinated communications and collaboration between Kisii County, the National Government MDAs, Council of Governors and other Counties.

Supporting the bilateral healthcare partnership between Kenya and the United Kingdom as Liaison of the Kenya UK Health Alliance. Collaborated with a team of 10 researchers in development of a project proposal for a £ 950 million Centre of Excellence in Health Education and Training in Kisii County, Kenya.

Serving as the County Communications Lead for USAID funded programs and projects in Kisii County. Achieved establishment of the Kisii Endelevu Trust Initiative (KETI), a Local Development Organization bringing together all civil society organizations in Kisii County, under the USAID funded Kaunti Kuimarisha Uendelevu Trust Initiative program. Also successfully coordinated implementation of the Kenya Crops and Dairy Markets Systems (KCDMS) Activity.

Kisii Municipality Program lead for the UK funded Sustainable Urban Economic Development (SUED) program. Successfully developed the Kisii Municipality Urban Economic Plan that seeks to mobilize KES. 10 billion for infrastructural development. Under this role I successfully managed communications and development of policies and MoUs that led to operationalization of the USD 2,500 Avocado Processing Plant.

County Stakeholder Mapping and Community Engagement Lead.

Steered Stakeholder engagements during development of the County Integrated development Plans (2013-2017), (2017-2022) and (2022-2027). Documented stakeholder views during public participation fora on the Fiscal Strategy Papers, Budget Estimates and priority projects and programs to ensure immediate needs of the people are prioritized.

Secretary to the Project Implementation Committee of the Integrated Strategic Urban Development Plan (ISUDP). Developed a 20-year masterplan for the Kisii Municipality that seeks to introduce international standards and practices for easy bilateral and multilateral engagements and for climate-resilient and sustainable development.

Steered resource mobilization for Kisii County at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic where I lead engagements with various stakeholders.

Participated in planning and coordination of major investment summits bringing together policymakers, government officials, international development partners, bilateral agencies that provided platforms for stakeholder engagement and development of Foreign Direct Investment Frameworks for the County.

Steered the successful development of Digital Communication policies, procedures, and guidelines to manage use of official digital media platforms for the County and communication of official county information through personal social media platforms by members of staff. Further trained a team of 5 on digital media communications.

Participated in development of the county communication strategy, under the guidance of an expert consultant, that guides internal and external communications and media engagement activities.

Successfully scheduled meetings and activities for H.E. the Governor during the period 2014-2021 and developed talking notes, speeches, press releases, social media posts, PowerPoint presentations, and media interviews for the Governor.

Represented the Kisii County in Trade Missions, Summits, and Conferences where I successfully pitched for investment opportunities and public private partnerships.
