  • Formulation and implementation of environmental and social management plans for various transmission projects as provided in local legislation and under diverse financiers ranging from World Bank, African Development Bank, JICA, AFD and EXIM banks of China. Korea and India.

  • Participating in feasibility studies for KETRACO projects.
  • Development and review of Environmental and Social Impact Assessment study reports.
  • Quarterly monitoring and reporting of implementation of projects’ Environmental and Social Management Plans as per provisions ESIA License conditions, EMCA 1999 and relevant regulations and financing agreements.

  • I'll be attending a climate resilience workshop in Seoul, South Korea as from 24t June to 2nd July 2023. The objective being to learn how to adapt electricity transmission infrastructure to climate change. The workshop has been organized Korean Exim Bank in collaboration with Africa Development Bank.
  • On 27th April 2023 I attended the 4th Kenya Think Tank Symposium 2023 themed, 'Mobilizing African Think Tanks for effective climate negotiations: The road to COP 28'. Organized by Kenya Institute for Public Policy Research and Analysis (KiPPRA). The forum was held at the Kenya School of Government in Nairobi.
  • On 29th and 30th March 2023, I facilitated a training organized by the Environmental Institute of Kenya (EIK) on drafting of Financial Proposals for environmental and and social consultancy services at the HillPark Hotel in Nairobi.
  • On 13th March 2023, I delivered a lecture through a webinar to University of Wisconsin Platteville's environmental studies students.   • On 29th September 2022, I attended the Global Africa Adaptation Acceleration Program (AAAP) inception workshop. The title for the workshop was, "Enhancing and scaling up climate adaptation for resilient infrastructure in Kenya and East Africa region".The workshop was organized by Africa Development Bank, the University of Nairobi and Global Centre for Adaptation at the Windsor Hotel and Country Club.
  • On 28th September 2022, I attended the Green Climate Fund (GCF) readiness support program workshop. The workshop was themed, "Accelerating financing and implementation of low carbon and climate resilient priorities in agriculture and energy in African Countries." The workshop was organized by the National Treasury & Earnst and Young at the Hillton Hotel in Nairobi.
  • On 15th September 2022,I represented and made a presentation on behalf of the Ministry of Energy and Petroleum & KETRACO in the China Africa Think Tank Forum. The workshop focused on the impact of climate change on China-Africa cooperation and China's role in the process of energy transition in Africa and analyze the post-Dakar Declaration during the China-Africa Cooperation Forum (FOCAC) and its role in the joint response to climate change, as well as potential opportunities for cooperation. It was organized by frica Policy Institute and CNPC Economics & Technology Research Institute, Beijing and held at the Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel, Nairobi.

  • 13th to 14th June 2018 I attended and made a presentation at the World Bank Environmental and Social Framework Training seminar held at the Intercontinental Hotel,Nairobi. The seminar was organized by the World Bank Group.
  • On 13th to 20th October 2020 I attended a capacity building webinar on Kenyan Policies and Laws related to the Energy Sector. The seminar was organized by USAID and Power Africa.
