Accomplishments
I successfully established a collaboration inside the department with the Chuka University Faculty of Agriculture, Tharaka Nithi County, and the Micro and Small Enterprise Authority (MSEA).
Having reached out to over 2000 beneficiaries, I have successfully started and carried out 6 main initiatives (dairy goat, motorbike, poultry, filling station, beehive, and strawberry value addition project) in the community. For the past four years, I have been teaching business entrepreneurship and SBS to over 1000 clients annually, and in Tharaka Nithi County, I have a 95% success rate.
As an important team player, our department won first runner-up and best department at the end of 2022, as well as best department throughout the first half of the year. Contributed to the growth of the Micro Enterprise program clientele from 464 to 1378and the loan portfolio from USD 103,000 in 2019 to USD208, 000 in 2024 with a repayment rate of 99%
