Accomplishments

  • I was able to bring onboard partnership with Chuka University Faculty of Agriculture, Tharaka Nithi County and Micro and Small Enterprise Authority (MSEA).
  • I have successfully completed Agricultural Expo Concept paper to be used during an implementation of in the year 2024 for the first time within the organization.
  • Successfully participated in business assessments and SBS data collection that was conducted using Commcare and TaroWorks tools.
  • Led to completion of the Motorbike Evaluation report using the Commcare tool.
  • I have successfully initiated & implemented 5 major projects (Motorbike, dairy goat, Poultry & filling station and strawberry) reaching out to over 5000 beneficiaries Annually, for the last three years, I have trained more than 500 clients on business entrepreneurship/SBS with a successful rate of 85% impact within Tharaka Nithi County.
  • I have also worked on a mentorship program whereas I have trained women on how they can start simple but profitable food vending business as well as value addition on farm produces together with alternative farming.
  • As a valuable team member, our department emerged the Best Department in the first half of the Year 2022 and First Runners Up at the Close of the Year 2022.
  • Contributed to the growth of the Micro Enterprise program clientele from 464 to 1378, loan portfolio from USD 103,000 in 2019 to USD208, 000 in 2022 with a repayment rate of 99%
  • I have managed to train more than 5000 small-scale farmers and entrepreneurs under the street business program (SBS)
