  • Furthermore, the industry also includes other sections
  • I.e
  • Laundry section for washing and cleaning of dirty linens, food store, kitchen section for food production, still room for production of fresh beverages, and the reception
  • I was taken to various sections of the kitchen namely; hot kitchen, butcher section, head chef’s office, changing room, cold room, entrementier, fish section, guard manger and the pastry section
  • I got familiarized with various kitchen equipment
  • Namely; bin marine, microwave, hot plate, oven, potato pillar, tang, coffee maker, hot plates
  • The activities entailed, production of food and beverages to be served as; Breakfast, Lunch, Evening
  • During breakfast, we used to prepare the full breakfast menu, which include, egg of one’s choice; omelet, sausage, bacon and either, ‘nduma’ or ‘ngwashe’ as they used to call boiled sweet potatoes and arrow roots
  • During lunch time, we used to produce the meals as per their provided alacarte menu
  • This section involved service of breakfast, lunch meal and dinner meals
  • Here we did the following; Bed spreading, Cleaning of the bathrooms, Cleaning of the toilets, Cleaning of the public area, Cleaning of the wooden floors and the tiles, Dusting
  • Rift Valley Sports Club, is an organization that deals with food and beverages production, in addition to that, offers the best customer service of this food and beverages
  • Furthermore, the industry also includes other sections
