Luhangala is an accomplished researcher, director and manager currently working as the regional manager in charge of stakeholder engagement and communication for Green Heart of Kenya across all projects. He is a passionate strategist with experience in multiple urban and peri-urban settings spanning Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Malawi, Rwanda, and Ghana. Luhangala uses co-design and co-curation approaches to foster urban development and sustainability in different sectors across Africa. He enjoys working with the community as evidenced through the Kilimo dada program where he supports local women farmers by giving them resources to farm in their urban backyards to improve their food sustainability. He also thrives in engaging diverse stakeholders including engaging local government, donors, community leaders, policy makers, commercial entities, academia, and local residents in different areas.
