Ensures that the procurement Function consolidates and updates regularly all procurement plans, procurement needs and that the function is having a strong sourcing capacity

-Setting up offices in Kenya and Somalia, registration follow-ups’, Medical scheme, Pension scheme and all insurances, coordinating all the travels for the teams travelling in and out of Somalia.

-Promote transparency and fairness in all procurement processes, ensuring a strict control system in place within the procurement function at capital and at field level, to minimize risks linked to fraud, delays, bad quality or poor suppliers’ performances.

-In line with the SI procurement guidelines, establishing framework agreements with suppliers for regularly procured goods and services.

-Prepare quality reports for supply chain in a timely manner and shared with stakeholders.

-Liaise closely with the finance department to ensure accountability and donor compliance with respect to project implementation and operational support.

-Overall, in charge of Contract drafting, management, issuance and closure of all contracts ensuring conflicts that may arise are amicably resolved, building, and maintaining good supplier relationships across projects

-Formed and constituted Procurement Committee that oversees the procurement and management of tendering process to ensure all projects are well represented and no conflict that arises thereto.

-Ensured that Supply Chain meet all legal requirements and standards through approvals from Legal and Compliance teams

-Collaborated with all departmental heads to ensure that we have a well-coordinated and harmonized plan in supply chain

-Overall, in charge of clearance of all goods coming from head offices in the United Kingdom and United States of American, through a well-coordinated 3pl.
