Mapping existing capacity needs with County Health Management teams on gender/youth responsive and inclusive planning, budgeting, data for decision-making and SRH supportive supervision.

Mapping existing coordination gaps with Technical Working Groups (TWGs) at County level on gender/youth responsive and inclusive planning, budgeting, data for decision-making and SRH supportive supervision. I provided One (1) mapping report highlighting coordination gaps of TWGs in the project implementation areas and recommendations to address these gaps were developed at the end of this process to provide information that was important in informing a mentorship plan and training for the TWGs to ably address these gaps in their respective counties.

  • Develop/adapt existing training modules on gender/youth responsive and inclusive planning. Budgeting, data for decision making and SRH supportive supervision based on capacity needs: I utilized findings of the mapping report developed to develop as training modules aimed at supporting the training of County Health Teams in gender/youth responsive planning, budgeting and decision making to promote SRH supervision in their work.
  • Conduct training for CHMTs: I conducted a three (3) day training bringing together a total of 15 CHMT members including health management committee members who are mandated with the duty of monitoring general administration of Health units on behalf of Local government.
  • The training equipped participants with knowledge and skills in gender/youth responsive planning, budgeting and decision making to promote SRH supervision and service provision in their work, an aspect that enabled them to deliver on their mandate more effectively.
