Automation of processes: Through payment gateway integrations to the Sacco system, members are able to pay loans and make their savings automatically to their Sacco accounts without the hustle of visiting the office. This has helped in mobilizing members to save daily thus increasing our monthly member deposit collections by 10%.
Capability building: Developed an in-house learning and development program that has led to a flexible workforce in the ICT department; this has increased operational efficiency as the trained staff can now comfortably manage ICT issues in our branches. This has also reduced our downtime by 50%.
Website Design and maintenance: Successfully developed a website for Verona Huruma Sacco which has benefited SACCO in terms of; Credibility, market expansion, and online presence. The website also helps in advertising our products and services and has contributed to the Sacco growth by 20% as most of the processes can now be done online.
ICT Department Establishment: Led the creation of an ICT department by designing its structure and setting up the necessary infrastructure for the society's operations.
