ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT PAYABLES AND GENERAL CASHIER

  • I receive, review and verify supplier’s invoices and credit notes making sure they are accurate
  • Capturing and posting supplier invoices in the system and filing them for safekeeping

  • All responsibilities pertaining to general cashier position
  • Coordinate with the outsourced Payroll company to process the payroll for both Norfolk and Mara Safari Club employees, ensuring accurate and timely salary payments
  • Maintain and update employee payroll data, including new hires, terminations, internal transfers and salary changes during payroll.
  • Ensured compliance with tax regulations and statutory deductions. This entails filing and submitting the following to the relevant authorities : PAYE, Housing Levy, SHIF, NSSF, HELB, Pension, SACCO Contributions and ensure the one third rule of pay is adhered to.
  • Resolved payroll discrepancies and responded to employee inquiries regarding pay and benefits
  • Reconciled payroll accounts and supported internal and external audits
  • Collaborated with HR and finance teams to ensure correct employee record keeping.
  • Assist with Accounts Payable when required.
