I am of Kenyan origin, and a scholarship graduate with a BA Economics (Hons) Financial Economics from University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) in Malaysia. I was awarded this scholarship by Madrinha Trust, University Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR) and the Tana River Life Foundation. During the course of my degree, I completed a 3-month audit internship with PWC Malaysia. Gained in-depth knowledge on Quantitative Techniques, Econometrics, Time Series Analysis, Research Methods, Portfolio Management, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics, Business Finance, Business Accounting, Money and banking, Microeconomic Foundation for Financial Analysis, and Principles of Management, Eviews data analysis software, Stata software for panel data analysis, numerical data interpretation, and report / presentation writing. I am well versed in the fields of Economics, Research, Finance, Accounting, Analysis, Management OR Social Science opportunities.

Volunteer Experience

TANA RIVER LIFE FOUNDATION - KENYA, 01/2013, 03/2015, Collecting recyclable clothes / school furniture / books / laptops / bicycles in Malaysia and Singapore for donation to schools in Kenya. Responsible for administering paid school fees and expenses for a Kindergarten School (Delta Mustard Seed Academy). Duties performed included: Monthly collection of school fees, Developed an excel tracker to capture all inflows, outflows, and cash outstanding, Updated & closed monthly accounts and receipt books and prepared management reports, Budget preparation and contingency planning.
