Accomplishments
The following are some of my notable achievements:
1.Assisted in the technical audits and valuation of infrastructure projects that are subject to investigations by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission which are tendered by National and County Governments including parastatals. My reports (with others) have enabled prosecutions, seizures, Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms and refunds of public funds and assets that would have been lost.(Quantifiable details to be provided upon request for the cases and status)
2.While at Kenya Power working in Arid and Semi-Arid Land (ASAL) regions within the North Eastern and Coastal counties , I was able to connect more than 30,000 customers including schools (both primary and secondary), hospitals and dispensaries to the national grid by leading teams in the initiatives by the Global Partnership on Output-Based Aid (GPOBA), a World Bank program in conjunction with the Kenyan Government, that uses results-based financing to improve access to basic services like water, sanitation, and electricity for low-income populations in developing countries.
