Design and Fabrication of a Nanoparticle Water Filtration System

As a student at Multimedia University of Kenya, I was part of an amazing team of 20 professionals involved in designing and fabricating a Nanoparticle Water Filtration System project. Collaborated with distinguished academics, research institutions such as KIRDI, and professional engineers from universities like Machakos and Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology. My role as the designer was crucial, involving the creation of the system's blueprint using software like AUTOCAD. This project aims to address the critical issue of water purification through cutting-edge engineering and nanotechnology, showcasing our commitment to environmental sustainability and effective contaminant removal.

The project not only highlights advanced mechanical engineering and nanotechnology but also marks a significant step towards commercialization, with potential to revolutionize water purification methods. Contributions ranged from design to the creation of a prototype, enhancing my skills in manufacturing processes, quality control, and comprehensive project management. This venture is envisioned to make a significant impact, valued in millions of Kenyan shillings, representing a leap in affordable, sustainable, and efficient water purification solutions.
