Summary

Hi there!

I'm Brian, a passionate Full-Stack Engineer dedicated to creating innovative user experiences through technology. Specializing in Front-End Engineering, I am skilled in JavaScript, React.js, Next.js, React Native, HTML/CSS, Tailwind, and TypeScript.

With a keen eye for design, I use Figma to ensure a seamless integration of aesthetics and functionality in my projects. My goal is to leverage my technical expertise and creativity to contribute to transformative projects that have a positive impact on the world.

My Journey into Tech

My passion for technology began at a young age, and despite some early challenges, I remained determined to pursue my dreams. In May 2023, I enrolled in CodeCademy to pursue Software Engineering and quickly realized I needed a more comprehensive learning experience to unlock my full potential.

That’s when I found ALX Africa. In February 2024, I was honored to receive a MasterCard Foundation scholarship to join ALX Africa as part of their esteemed Software Engineering program. This program provided a balance of soft skills (leadership, communication, problem-solving, and teamwork) and hard skills in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Git & GitHub, ReactJS, Next.js, React Native, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS APIs, and Figma for design.

As a proud ALX Software Engineering Alumni, I was thrilled to be featured on #FacesofALXSE24, sharing my journey and achievements with other inspiring individuals in the tech community.

Let’s Connect!

I’m always open to connecting with like-minded professionals, aspiring developers, or anyone passionate about the tech industry. Feel free to reach out, whether you want to collaborate or just share insights.

Outside of coding, you’ll find me enjoying lawn tennis, watching thought-provoking documentaries, or diving into a good book.

Thank you for visiting my profile—I look forward to connecting!
