• Drove the companywide sustainability agenda, aligning it with Safaricom’s operational goals.
• Reviewed Safaricom’s Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental Audits (EA) reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Assisted Safaricom in meeting the new ISO 14001: 2015 regulatory requirements.
• Worked towards reducing Safaricom’s carbon footprint through targeted sustainability initiatives.
• Updated EIA and EA licenses in company databases to maintain regulatory compliance.
• Carried out community engagement for EIA processes related to Base Transceiver Station (BTS) sites.

• Participated in Access Benefit Sharing (ABS) evaluations and issued access permits for biological resource utilization.
