09 May 2018 to Date: KAG Kaembeni Child Development Centre in Partnership with Compassion International Project Employed as the Project Director where am assigned the following responsibilities:
Provides advocacy for children and their caregivers in the project. Heads the project, supervise staff and lead spiritual, cognitive, socieconomical and physical domain activities.
Acts as the Accounting Officer for all the project funds in line with the Compassion International policy.
In charge of preparation and implementation of the approved project plans and budgets.
Prepare and submits monthly reports to the Partnership Facilitator, the Church Partnership Committee and other partners as required.
Manages the process of Child home visitation in accordance with the plan and program of the project.
To challenge and motivate the Accountability Management Structure (ASM) to think of other ways of mobilizing resources that can provide sound learning opportunities for the children e.g networking and writing proposals.
Build mutual relationships between the donor community, local community, care givers and the Church.
Works closely with the Accountability Management Structure(ASM) on selection criteria of children for sponsorship.
Assists the other project staff by sharing responsibility when the situation calls for such intervention.
Advise on project governance, procurement / tendering processes and better financial management system for the project.
Ensures that holistic child development takes effect in form of activities relating to the four development areas stipulated in the PFM.
Discharges such other duties as assigned by the Accountability Management Structure (ASM).
