• Supervised and oversaw renovations and drainage works with guidance from the Estate Engineer.
• Ensured that workmanship and materials used were as per the contract documents.
• Ensured that health and safety regulations were observed on-site at all times.

• Construction of Multi-purpose dining hall for K.T.G.A Secondary School

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carried out thorough study and interpretation of the contract documents.
• Interpreted and learnt how to prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQ) by taking off.
• Inspected the quality of materials.
• Carried out detailed recording and reporting for the projects.
• Carried out inspection of workmanship and ensured quality workmanship.
• Prepared as-built drawings for the multi-purpose dining hall.
• Ensured that contract documents were followed to the latter by the contractors.

• Learnt how to design a flexible pavement using Civil 3D under the Inspectorate department.
• Learnt how to inspect the quality of materials for the different pavement layers.
• Learnt the standard construction procedures for a flexible pavement, its associated drainage works and bridges.
• Collaborated with the materials section in learning the standard tests for a flexible pavement and their importance.
• Worked closely with the Survey section on the standard survey tests for data collection.

• Gained Skills in Project Management, Substructure and Site works.
• Maintained excellent attendance record, consistently arriving to work on time while maintaining a courteous and effective working relationship.
