1) (from April 2024) Coordinate Capacity Building Help Desk - an internal capacity building mechanism to build capacity within UN-Habitat in developing, implementing and monitoring capacity building programmes and activities; organize knowledge sharing webinars; review and contribute to project design and development;
2) (from 2016 - 2022) Partnership and project manager of the "UN-Habitat – Gangwon Province Partnership", a collaboration with Gangwon province, Republic of Korea. Tasks: strategic planning and training needs assessment, training programme development, facilitation, and training course evaluation;
3) Support implementing the "Capacity Development Programme to Support Achievement of the SDGs in urban development" project with focus on African cities, in collaboration with Ministry of National Development, Singapore.

1) Provided technical support and advice to Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment solutions for climate-smart agriculture practices
2) Advised CIDA on current or emerging climate change issues as they relate to agriculture and food security in Vietnam:
- Focused areas including CC mitigation in agriculture, soil quality management, irrigation management and valuation of water resources, fair trade and access to market for farmers and food safety;
- Provided CC related research and analytical input to CIDA programming in agriculture and food security in Vietnam;
- Assisted CIDA's positions in donor-government negotiations related to climate change, food security and other policy dialogues;
- Maintained an overview of ODA-financed climate change/ food security projects;
- Maintained coherent and smooth coordination with co-sponsor partners including World Bank, AfD, and JICA;

1) Managed of a budget support programme on Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation, funded by Danish Government (US$ 40 million). This included i) reviewing technical reports, ii) participating in CC adaptation strategic planning at national level in advisory role; iii) recruited international and national consultants and advisors, iv) prepared periodic policy brief, preparing speaking points/speeches, v) monitored the programmes at provincial level, vi) budget forecasting, payment processing, financial reporting on the programme's expenditure, facilitated audit process and audit report analysis.
2) Managed 7 small projects in climate change adaptation (total budget of approximately USD4 million) and 2 small projects in CDM, including project formulation, approval, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
3) Prepared background papers, speeches, policy briefs and suggestions on discussion points to facilitate DANIDA's coordination of "climate change donor group" in Hanoi.

1) Programme development and management:
- Provided technical assistance in areas of capacity building for provincial and community authorities and development workers in areas of forestry, agricultural extension, women's empowerment and gender equality, income diversification, project planning and M&E;

- Participated in IFAD/UNOPS supervision missions and mid-term review missions of on-going projects;

- Support M&E information system to track projects' progress;
- Coordinated and organized IFAD Portfolio Performance Review workshops;
- Liaised with central ministries to obtain up-to-dated policies related to rural development, gender and ethnic minority issues;

2) Programme development:

- Provided technical inputs on natural resources planning, environmental management for inception and formulation of new projects in Vietnam supported by IFAD loans;

1) Managed the implementation of an Integrated Community Development project in My Duc district, Ha Tay province (US$ 200,000). Project activities include a capacity-building programme for local women group and local authorities; sustainable livehoods of marginalized communities; micro-finance and better education in the communities;
2) Assisted with project development: contributing to the formulation of the Quan Ba Development Project (US$ 2 million), Ha Giang province; advised on project concept and institutional set-up;

1) Provided support as interpreter for international advisers and translated training material, reports and other correspondences.
2) Liaised with provincial government implementing agencies; assisted implementing agencies with research, project reports and proposals.
3) Assisted the Provincial Department of Forest Protection in setting up a database for the community forest protection and management component, and a database for the agricultural extension component; training government staff on use of database systems.
4) Assisted technical studies and surveys; compiled materials, policy documents and reports to conduct an environmental impact assessment (EIA); contributed to drafting of EIA report.
