After successful and illustrious career at Old Mutual Group holding various senior executive positions, latest secongment to Faulu Microfinance Bank as the Chief Operating Officer to lead the bank's business turnaround and transformation agenda, currently am the Country Director of Ordinise Limited, a debt management and counselling company with offices in Kenya, UK and South Africa. A career business c-suite executive and banker, I have also worked with various banks in Kenya, amongst them Housing Finance, Consolidated Bank and National Bank in executive positions. I have also been a part-time lecturer at Strathmore university post-graduate students. I hold both Post-Graduate and Bachelor's degrees in Information Communication Technology and Operations Management and graduate of Strathmore/Lagos and IESE Business Schools in Advance Leadership Programme (AMP) and Wits Business School-University of Witwatersrand, South Africa in Management Advancement Programme (MAP). Other professional qualifications I possess include certified Project Management (PRINCE2 Practitioner), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), certified Information Security Professional (CSSP), LEAN operations Expert, certificates in Business Recovery and Continuity Management and Executive Coaching and Mentorship. Other accomplishments include Hall of Fame 2008 International Who is Who Society of Professionals, voted Kenyas ICT Manager of the year in 2003 and awarded special Chairman's recognition in 2007 for my contribution and involvement in technology development and transformation in Kenya. In 2011, voted as a workplace hero for the entire old mutual emerging market for my commitment to excellence, exceptional, inspirational leadership and pushing beyond boundaries. I am always a speaker to seminars, conferences and business events organized by Kenya Bankers Association, Terrapin SA, Marcus Evans, Computer Society of Kenya, ICT Expo and Conferences, Aitec EA to mention but a few. Under my leadership Old mutual Insurance company won the coveted price as the most innovative insurance company twice in a row (2008 and 2009). Old Mutual Business Recovery and Continuity management as the best managed in the old Mutual emerging markets and Faulu core banking system upgrade and implementation as the best-managed business transformational project in Old Mutual Group. An avid reader, in my personal time, I enjoy golfing, mountain climbing, swimming, exercising, lecturing and public speaking. I also like coaching and mentoring the youth and being involved in various charitable and community development projects.
