  • Design and assembly of an automated Solar Powered Irrigation Pumping System, 09/01/24, 05/20/25, The main objective was to design and integrate an automated solar-powered irrigation system for local farmers. The specific objectives of the project were to develop an irrigation system that consistently delivers water under varying environmental conditions, to incorporate automation in the energy system to ensure efficient solar energy storage and usage and lastly to introduce automation for better control over irrigation schedules based on soil moisture and crop requirements. We successfully designed the system and drafted a project proposal presented to the University examination panel in December 2024, then went on to fabricate, assemble and automate the system successfully and presented it to the University examination panel on 05/20/25.
