Bellamy Milling Company Limited is the producer of Tajiri Maize Meal and Rafiki Maize Meal. In my position as a Merchandiser, Product Marketer and Sales Driver, the following were my roles;

• Negotiated with suppliers for timely and cost-efficient product deliveries, maintaining inventory flow.
• Boosted sales by implementing effective merchandising strategies and visually appealing displays.
• Removed damaged, out-of-code, not-in-set and discontinued items from displays.
• Verified products appeared at correct locations in proper quantities.

Conducted a medical biochemistry research project with the title 'Investigating the teratogenic effects of aqueous Curcubita moschata fruit extract in animal models (mice)' at Kenyatta University Main Campus science laboratories.

• Data collection- Regularly collected data on weight gain on a daily basis as well as body length over project duration.
• Data analysis using SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences).

Worked as an enumerator during the 2019 National Population and Housing Census in Kisumu County.

Roles included walking door to door, interacting with citizens, while collecting important demographic and economic data, working with teams, and effectively using computers, tablets, and other smart devices (using specialized data collection software), while meeting deadlines and submitting reports at the end of each working day.

Applications such as Open Data Kit (ODK), Esri Survey 123 was used for field mapping while ArcGIS software was used to produce and digitize maps. Developed skills to understand, use, evaluate and troubleshoot software through this experience.
