As the Chief Business Officer (CBO) at ED Partners Africa Limited, I play the pivotal role of driving the organization's business strategy, operations & management of channels, and overall growth of the enterprise. This includes:

a. Strategic Planning and Execution: Development and implementation of the country’s business strategies to achieve the institution's financial goals as envisaged in the 5-year strategic 10X growth plans.

b. C-Suite management & governance responsibility- I sit at critical leadership and governance committees including the EXCO committee and various management committees. In addition, I sit in various board level committees i.e Advisory, Credit & Risk, Technology & ICT & Social Impact.

c. Business Development: I lead the business development vertical which entails balance sheet growth, budgeting and fiscal health of the business, Income and revenue streams management, physical expansion of the institution's market presence and customer base and fostering relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and investors.

d. Product development and marketing & customer experience: I spearhead this function to ensure research backed development of financial solutions based on evolving customer needs. This entails innovation and technology aided practices, leveraging on data analytics to drive decisions.

e. Social Impact oversight- I lead the impact vertical ensuring proper measurement of business impact, fund raising for technical assistance and grants for special projects.

f. Team Leadership- I am responsible for over 50 staff working directly in the key verticals I lead, bringing leadership, mentorship and proper performance management practices to ensure delivery of business objectives.

a. As the country Head of Sales and Distribution, I spearheaded development of the Letshego Kenya Limited's financial solutions and channels for consumers, providing strategic management of the franchise and was responsible for promoting and driving innovation.

d. Through employment of improved variable pay recruitment models, the cost of acquisition for business segment dropped to 5%

h. Championed paper less origination process cutting down stationery and courier costs by 50%

i. Championed the establishment and growth of the Letshego Digital Lending platform, a game changing product with over 100,000 customer growth & over Kes 500M growth in 2 months
