  • Training of Untrained Remedial Teachers in Kakuma Refuge: Review previously collected data on KEEP's remedial classes, develop a training strategy to support the skill development of untrained remedial teachers, deliver training workshops to KEEP remedial teachers in Kakuma refuge, and host communities, encourage sharing and learning among teachers from various remedial centers
  • Training Head teachers in Kakuma Refuge and Host (Turkana West): Work with KEEP staff to coordinate logistics for the Head teachers training, advise Canadian Consultant on issues related to Kenya Ministry of Education policies, procedures and directives related to Head teachers, review training materials and provide input, identify Head teachers needs related to leading/ supporting Gender Responsive Pedagogy (GRP), co-facilitate three day training using the Facilitation Guide, collaborate with co-facilitator to conduct on-site evaluation of the training, debrief with co-facilitator to evaluate pilot version of the training and provide input to make any necessary revisions, contribute to report on the activity
