I am an experienced mathematics educator at Braeside School, teaching KS3, KS4, and KS5 within the Braeburn Group. I plan structured, engaging lessons that stretch every learner while creating a calm, supportive classroom built on empathy, consistency, and clear expectations.
My teaching philosophy centres on helping students build confidence, think independently, and connect mathematics to real life. I use inquiry, practical examples, and steady feedback to guide learners in understanding ideas deeply, and taking ownership of their progress.
With a background in software engineering and data analysis, I bring a strong digital approach to the classroom, using simple tools, data, and interactive resources to support learning. I also mentor students in STEM, public speaking, and leadership, encouraging them to grow as well-rounded, responsible young people.
I hold myself to high professional standards, value teamwork, and believe that positive relationships, and purposeful teaching make the greatest difference in student outcomes.
