• Optimized sales of the business by projecting the marketing cost of the various promotions running all year on our products.
• I gave insight on product performance through periodic BCG Matrix analysis on our products to identify the high cost-low sales items and vice versa.
• Improved service delivery through analysis and reporting of our operational metrics such as order preparation and delivery times.
• Analyze and report on business sales and discounts issued on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
• Generated insight into business performance through In depth analysis by brand, location and partner (uber, bolt, glovo, jumia).

• Stabilized our service uber rating to 4.8/5 from 2.8 and bolt rating to 4.6/5 from 3.0 through weekly analysis of customer complaints and presenting my findings to concerned department leads.

My biggest achievement in this role was building a costing tool that broke down the cost of our products by their raw materials. This tool was dynamic in the sense that any change to the pricing of raw materials reflected in real time on the costing tool and therefore the impact of such a change could be viewed on the profit margins expected from said product. This tool is still in use after I exited my role at the organization.

• I trained representatives from various parastatals within the East African Community in IDEA software analysis.
• In collaboration with the IT department, I did stock checking of laptops used in firm wide to ensure the number of laptops we had on record matched the number that was currently in circulation.
• I oversaw the transfer of hardcopy files between the data and analytics team and other business units.
• I handled all the clerical tasks that pertained to the data team.
• Finally, I wrote well researched articles about emerging trends in the field of finance and analysis.
