I have six years of experience working in Community Empowerment: serving the Youth, Women and Children in different capacities: Leadership; Conflict Resolving Providing guidance for those in need; Training among other competencies. Through my work, I have partnered with corporations like Vivo, Britannia, Pearson, Pepea Africa, Spelling Bee East Africa, Kenya Literature Bureau, Tear Fund, Friedrich Neumann Foundation, St. John’s Community Centre, County Governments of Makueni and Machakos among other stakeholders.
I graduated from the University of Nairobi, with a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology and Gender Studies. Through my learning experience, I have so far been able to accumulate administrative skills, research and communication skills in regards to private, public and civil society sectors. I also was elected the University representative for the four years of my studies where I served the students, lecturers and the administration.
My interests include public relations, capacity building, governance, personal branding, community development, entrepreneurship and conflict resolution. I enjoy working with people and consider myself very enthusiastic about life. I appreciate quality and excellence. My goal is to build myself to be an all rounded, knowledgeable and balanced individual who can thrive in any environment and be of great benefit to those around me.
