My name is Alisha and I'm a young and very talented makeup artist. I'm 17 years old (I'll be 18 very shortly!) which may lower people expectations of the artistry I produce and the knowledge I hold, but I can assure you that's not the case at all! Although I may be young, my age doesn't stop me from achieving my goals and producing an incredibly high standard of work and work ethic. As I am younger, I am able to connect to a wider audience of customers, I am able to relate to them and also keep up with the current trends and trending products amongst the youngsters. I like to think that I am a funny, and charismatic person with a big personality and a bright energy! I would tell you my hobbies, but of course it's makeup and nothing but it! I spend majority of my time (and a fair amount of money) on makeup, creating looks, researching and trying new products. I have always had an interest in makeup but only stated doing it when I was about 11 and obviously, fell in love with it. I've been a creative kid all my life and in my eyes, my face is just another canvas. I started really getting into makeup and began exploring my options on perusing a career in it when I was 15. Now, 3 years later, my improvement and passion have grown an insane amount and I'm constantly growing in my knowledge and skills. I am neurodivergent and apart of the LQBTQIA+ community and I love to represent and connect to people that are likewise. I love to express myself through makeup and be outside of the box and I love being the furthest thing from normal (but in a good way, no stress). Although I am neurodivergent, I don't let it stop me, instead I celebrate the fact that I am different! I use what some people see as a weakness and turn it into my super power, allowing my different and creative thinking to blossom through makeup! I have left school which has helped me mature extremely and especially in the work place. Through leaving school I have been able to kickstart my dreams earlier than most and progress very far in my current job for the age that I am. I love hanging out with my friends and as we know anything to do with creativity, I love to learn new things and get to know new people and I'm so excited to see what my future holds and where my talents take me!
