Summary
Throughout my working period, I have been able to gain experience in the field of Monitoring and Evaluation, Data entry and Health records management. I have gained insight into how to manage software data in the various areas of Medical records data, OVC and Care and treatment as mentioned below:
Computer application software – word processors, database, presentation, web browsers
Operating system – Microsoft windows, Google’s android, SPSS etc.
System analysis and design – systems, processes and technology.
Management information system – record keeping(CPMIS/EMR/KHIS)
Database design – relational model, network and object-oriented models, among others. Also, I have gained skills in fast typing, retrieving data from the database, analyzing and verifying data before entry into software, confidentiality of both paper and software data, retrieving and storing of the patient files, performing routine quality data checks for quality improvement, among others. Am therefore confident with my organizational skills and abilities that I can work in team with others for the best results achievement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
My duties and responsibilities are just but not limited to:
Documenting data quality gaps and develop data quality improvement plan – Monthly/quarterly Data Reviews/DQA/SIMS
Working closely with the project staff/MOH staff to Conduct routine data quality checks to ensure reported data and source document match on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
Verifying and keying in data in CPIMS from paperwork i.e F1A, F1B, CPARA, Caseplan, PRS, HES data, etc and performing data cleaning
Maintaining records safety and confidentiality at the facility
Facilitate capacity building on data quality and OVC data collection tools to CHVs
Implementing the project’s monitoring system to ensure it complies with the donar’s agreement
Coordinating Data collection and validation at the facility level before entry into the software
Monitoring and reporting progress on indicator achievements against targets routinely
Providing mentorship on correct use of data collection and reporting tools/Proper documentation of registers and other data collection tools to the facility team
Ensuring completeness, accuracy and timely reporting of data, and updating existing data when required
Ensuring the M&E system complies with project’s policies, procedures, standards and strategic initiatives
Retrieval of data from the database/developing project M&E databases
Active participation in the facility’s Quality Improvement Team, Case discussions MDT and Infection prevention teams
Monitoring stock levels to ensure sufficient and timely order/supply of all standardized forms and data tools for efficient data collection
Routine data updating of patient information from files, registers and other reporting tools to EMR/CPIMS
Properly maintaining the SOPs and updating the dashboards, wall charts/run charts
Closely working with digital systems team to resolve data quality issues
Performing regular data backups to ensure data preservation
Maintaining proper filing system – storing and retrieving of patient records and labeling of the cabinets with correct fields
Performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor
