CSR - In 2021 I started a Non-Profit CSR by the name WAMPI (Wambui Menstrual Programme Initiative. WAMPI works to disseminate menstrual hygiene information and resources to young girls in Kenya. To help young girls navigate puberty, which is often a time of significant physical and emotional upheaval, The initiative is supported by people, and has been equipping over 500 adolescent girls with life skills, and information on menstrual health and hygiene, they recently announced. Under this intervention, WAMPI has been distributing WAMPI Kits’ to the girls, which are a collection of products and information that would help these young girls understand and manage their periods and dispel myths and taboos surrounding menstruation. The kits contain a packet pads, Pain killers for menstrual pain management, tissue, clean/new underwear, and some lotion.
