  • Stepped into the operations manager position when he was on leave and was responsible for the whole operations with 39 million liters of aviation fuel and 4.5million liters of diesel. The site has responsibilities such as making sure Camp Bastion and Leatherneck are at maximum capacity to support their daily operations.
  • Overall Responsibility for 80+ Operators and 7 Fuel Coordinators including such things as making sure that correct PPE is worn, Daily facility checks; everyone works within the SOP, HSE and Guidelines.
  • As the company strives to uphold its status as a JIG 10 complaint and ISO 9000, ISO 9001:2008. I worked close with the HSE and QA management in making this dream a reality by creating a more conducive environment for the health and safety of the operators and the best functionality of the equipment on site.
  • Stock monitoring of fuel, additives, manpower and relaying the information to the relevant BU's and departments to make sure operations do not cease or are in any way affecting the production of our end product to the clientele.
  • Dealing with customers, Civil and military personnel on a daily basis via email or face to face.
  • Liaising with the General Manager on cost cutting purchases of items, overall activities on operations and fostering new ideas for the improvement of work output in line with the provided budget.
