  • Provide ongoing technical support to residents, troubleshooting issues with both internet connectivity and DStv service, and resolving technical problems promptly both on site and remotely
  • Perform network diagnostics, including checking IP address assignments, verifying routing tables, and ensuring proper configuration of static IPs for each device on the network
  • Perform maintenance and upgrades on the network infrastructure in coordination with our Network engineer ensuring the server room equipment is properly functioning and up-to-date to handle the, growing network demands
  • Assist in configuring and maintaining VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks) for segmented traffic management, ensuring smooth performance and security for different user groups within the residence
  • Install and configure routers with NAT (Network Address Translation) settings, ensuring proper network access and security for residents
  • Coordinate with senior network engineers to ensure smooth integration of network infrastructure and troubleshoot complex network issues
  • Provide customer training to residents on how to use the internet and DStv services efficiently, addressing any questions or concerns regarding their setups
  • Regularly perform on-site checks to ensure that the installations meet the required standards and make adjustments when necessary to improve service performance
  • Update and maintain client information in an Excel database, recording installation details, service requests, and customer feedback to ensure accurate and up-to-date records for future reference
  • Track and organize service history for clients in the database, ensuring timely follow-ups for any outstanding support requests or maintenance needs
  • Generate reports from the Excel database for management, highlighting key performance metrics, common service issues, and client satisfaction levels
