Install and configure high-speed internet and DStv services for residents of Enaki Resort Residences, ensuring reliable connectivity and optimal service quality
Manage network configurations coming from the server room, ensuring that static IP addresses are properly assigned to each resident's router and device for seamless internet access
Set up and configure network hardware, including routers, range extenders, and Wi-Fi access points, ensuring that the entire residence is covered by a strong, stable internet connection
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to internet connectivity, including hardware, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi configuration problems, ensuring minimal downtime for residents both on site and remotely
Configure and maintain SatIP (Satellite Internet Protocol) systems for DStv installations, ensuring high-quality satellite signal reception and optimizing signal strength for the best viewing experience
Provide ongoing technical support to residents, troubleshooting issues with both internet connectivity and DStv service, and resolving technical problems promptly both on site and remotely
Perform network diagnostics, including checking IP address assignments, verifying routing tables, and ensuring proper configuration of static IPs for each device on the network
Perform maintenance and upgrades on the network infrastructure in coordination with our Network engineer ensuring the server room equipment is properly functioning and up-to-date to handle the, growing network demands
Assist in configuring and maintaining VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks) for segmented traffic management, ensuring smooth performance and security for different user groups within the residence
Install and configure routers with NAT (Network Address Translation) settings, ensuring proper network access and security for residents
Coordinate with senior network engineers to ensure smooth integration of network infrastructure and troubleshoot complex network issues
Provide customer training to residents on how to use the internet and DStv services efficiently, addressing any questions or concerns regarding their setups
Regularly perform on-site checks to ensure that the installations meet the required standards and make adjustments when necessary to improve service performance
Update and maintain client information in an Excel database, recording installation details, service requests, and customer feedback to ensure accurate and up-to-date records for future reference
Track and organize service history for clients in the database, ensuring timely follow-ups for any outstanding support requests or maintenance needs
Generate reports from the Excel database for management, highlighting key performance metrics, common service issues, and client satisfaction levels
