Researchandseminars

  • 17th Feb. 2007 - Participated in Peace Unit Program Initiative: Community clean up exercise, and HIV/AIDS social welfare in Nyalenda (Maseno University Chapter), collected data from participants, ensured progressive clean-ups, monitored the situation of the sanitation facilities. Delivered materials like tissue paper, dustbins and clean water to ensure improvement of sanitation services, reported back on progress and findings to field supervisors and research managers, worked on data analysis based on the field work, collaborated team work and also worked independently thus maintaining interest and trust to the participating community.
  • Sep. 2006 - Jan. 2007 - Undertook a research project on Effects of Drug Abuse on social status of students in Maseno University
  • Sept. - Nov. 2006 - Successfully undertook a Certificate course in peer guidance and counseling in HIV/AIDs under the I CHOOSE LIFE. Practicum programMaseno Chapter
  • Undertook a research project on cervical cancer in child bearing age among women in Kisumu county
