With over 7 years of experience in the water sectors in Kenya and Tanzania, I am currently a Regional Programme Manager at eWATERservices, a private water operator providing 24/7 access to clean water in Sub-Saharan Africa. I have a master's degree in Water, Sanitation, and Health Engineering from the University of Leeds, and I am a Mandela Washington Fellow and a Chevening Scholar, two prestigious leadership and scholarship programs sponsored by the U.S. and UK governments.
My mission is to improve access to clean water and sanitation for the poorest and most vulnerable populations, using smart technology and local operational excellence. I lead the scoping, design, and installation of water systems in rural and urban communities in Kenya and Tanzania, ensuring the quality, sustainability, and impact of the projects. I also liaise and collaborate with various stakeholders, including clients, authorities, politicians, partners, and teams, to build relationships, understand requirements, and align goals, expectations, and performance. I leverage my skills in water engineering, program management, financial analysis, policy analysis, and customer engagement to deliver high-value and high-quality water solutions.
