tournament, which raised over Ksh 1,200,000 in funds for breast cancer

to coordinate event logistics, participant registrations, and fundraising
activities, contributing to the event's overall success and awareness
efforts.
• Medical Camp Support – Nyamira and Other Counties: Assisted
in the intake process for over 500 women across various counties,
including Nyamira, who participated in free breast cancer screening
services. Ensured smooth patient registration, data entry, and
coordinated with healthcare professionals to facilitate screenings and
consultations.
• Screening Awareness and Education: Worked with the medical
team to provide educational materials to over 1,000 women, explaining
the importance of regular screenings, early detection, and available
treatment options. Contributed to raising awareness of breast cancer
prevention in underserved rural communities.
• Participating in Awareness Walks: Assisted in organizing and
participating in 2 annual awareness walks aimed at raising awareness
about breast cancer prevention and early detection. These walks
brought together over 1,500 participants each year, helping spread the
message about the importance of cancer screening and early
intervention.
• Fundraising and Advocacy: Collaborated with the fundraising
team to promote events and raise additional funds through local
donations and partnerships, helping further the mission of
Women4Cancer.
• Patient Support and Counseling: Provided emotional and
logistical support to over 200 women during medical camps and events,
offering information on treatment options, follow-up care, and
resources available for cancer patients and their families.
