• Setup the first fully accredited (ISO 17025) Equipment Calibration Center under the Ministry of Health-Kenya.
• Developed a national curriculum document approved by the Kenya Ministry of the Health to be used as a guide in the maintenance and calibration of laboratory auxiliary equipment.
• Calibrated over 5000 laboratory equipment calibrations through the Kenya NPHL Equipment calibration center since the center was launched in April 2017.
• Conducted 5 regional refresher training courses in 3 East African countries of biomedical engineers in the East Africa Region on the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment through the World Bank project (ECSA) and the East Africa Public Health Network.
• Mentored and trained over 100 biomedical engineers on laboratory equipment maintenance & calibration in 15 counties across Kenya.
• Developed a calibration software for MOH/NPHL COE that has conducted calibration calculations and certificates for over 3000 calibration entities.
• Installed the first automated media production unit for Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI).
• Conducted training and mentorship of Middle East biomedical engineers in the area of calibration of auxiliary laboratory equipment in Oman through APHL.
• Conducted training and mentorship of Biomedical engineers of African countries : Malawi and Zambia in the certification of Biosafety cabinets.
