This is my current job. As the health coordinator for the Urban Refugee Assistance Program, under the NCCK, funded by the UNHCR. Some of my duties and responsibilities include:

Oversight of implementation of Primary Health care, Fundraising through proposal development, Budgeting and budget monitoring, Attending meetings with the UNHCR, The Government, other partners, Management of the staff in my department, appraisals and disciplinary, Management of referral activities and Providing medical technical advise to the other partners doing refugee work in Nairobi and the camps.

Reviewing patients in the outpatient department.

Management of the patients in the ward.

Performing procedures as provided, within my scope.

Management of the medical operations as the Medical Officer in charge.

• In Casualty and Maternity
• Also covering theater calls for maternity and surgery.

• Working on Locum basis (in the case of an absent resident MO) at,
• My responsibilities include Managing patients in the words, carrying out procedures in theater, and covering OPD at night.

• County referral hospital where i learned a lot, transitioned from a trainee to a complete medical doctor.

• Kiambu County.After completing my university studies
• My responsibilities included triage and Clerkship of patients in out-patient, making prescriptions and managing patients at the Ward

• Mwihoko during the first wave of Covid pandemic
• Other profession related activities include Participation in FREE Medical camps with HISANI FOUNDATION in Kombewa, Kisumu county and Uzima University annual Eye camps as a clinician.
