ROTATIONS:

1.Internal Medicine

  • Independently took medical histories, conducted physical exams, and presented cases on daily rounds.
  • Assisted in the management of chronic and acute cases, including diabetes, hypertension, heart failure, and sepsis.
  • Performed and interpreted ECGs, blood glucose monitoring, and fluid/electrolyte management.

2. Surgery

  • Assisted in minor surgical procedures, pre-op and post-op care; wound suturing, abscess drainage, catheterization, and dressing changes.
  • Scrubbed in as first or second assistant in elective and emergency surgeries.
  • Managed surgical inpatients, including charting vitals, managing IV fluids, and writing progress notes.

3. Pediatrics

  • Administered routine vaccinations and developmental milestone assessments.
  • Supported pediatric emergency resuscitation and helped stabilize acutely ill children.
  • Participated in health talks and mother education sessions in outpatient clinics.

4. Obstetrics & Gynecology
