Competition Law & M&As

• I worked under the Lead Consultant in conducting initial meetings with Researchers and clients in competition & M&As policy regulation in COMESA Region
• I assisted the Leas Consultant in research into Competition Regulation in EAC & COMESA Region;
• I assisted the Lead Consultant in preparation of materials in a Regional Training organized and conducted by the Competition Authority of Kenya June 2016
• I assisted in preparation of follow up report on the training

Financial Services Law Regulation

• I conducted research on exiting legal & regulatory framework governing the Banking Sector in Kenya
• I was a co-trainer in Banking Law Seminar organized by the Kenya Institute of Bankers for purposes of Sensitizing financial sector service providers on compliance with Consumer Protection, Ant-Money Laundering and Compliance; for period running from 1st August 2021 to September 2021 and 12th-17th December 2021;

Litigation

• I worked closely with the Partner-Litigation in conducting client interviews
• I drafted and reviewed opinions and advisory in order to guide clients on the best method of dispute resolution
• I represented clients in court and ADR in all disputes including:

- Commercial disputes

-Constitutional and Human rights disputes

-Environmental and Urban Planning

Corporate and Commercial Department

• I was in charge of conducting initial meetings with corporate clients in order to understand their legal needs;
• I drafted complex commercial contracts/documents of a commercial/corporate nature including; complex financing documentation, board resolutions etc
• I prepared documents in commercial disputes
• I provided general advisory and client care

• I worked under the Partner- Projects & Public Partnerships in conducting legal advisory in preliminary steps of PP Projects
• I maintained and managed the documentation for PPP projects
• I assisted the Lead Partner in drafting complex PPP Documentation including Memorandums, Project Notes/Concepts and Agreement
• I organized meetings with the Project Partners and prepared follow up notes for the action plans

• I worked under the guidance of the Partner-Training and Development, in fulfillment of mandatory apprenticeship under the Kenya School of Law- Advocates Training Programme

• Sorted and organized files, spreadsheets and reports.
• Took detailed meeting minutes, prepared meeting rooms and compiled paperwork to support legal department.
• Restocked office supplies and retrieved files for staff.
• Applied extensive experience using Adobe Creative Suite to develop multimedia presentations.
• Achieved management recognition by designing and implementing special project during internship.
• Upheld office schedule and calendar to coordinate workflow and meetings.
