• Nutritional Assessment- Evaluating the nutritional needs of patients, many of whom may be malnourished or suffering from conditions that affect their nutritional status, such as cancer, trauma, or congenital issues
• Dietary Planning- Developing individualized nutrition plans for patients before and after surgeries to support recovery, improve health outcomes, and promote healing.
• Nutrition Support- Providing specialized feeding methods such as enteral (tube feeding) or parenteral nutrition (IV feeding) for patients who are unable to eat by mouth due to surgery or other medical conditions.
• Collaboration with Medical Team- Working alongside doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure that nutrition is a key component of patient care, particularly in complex cases like cleft lip/palate surgeries, orthopedic conditions, and maxillofacial surgeries.
