Maasai Mara University is a Public University based in Narok town with a population of more than 10,000 students and more than 700 employees. During my one year tenure, I was involved in the following duties;

  • Ensuring accurate and timely billing of tuition and collection of fees
  • Maintain accurate financial data, including accurate monthly financial statements
  • Assisted the students in transiting into the new Government funding which included calculation of their expected tuition fee and also troubleshooting issues with Jiunge App and Pesaflow.
  • Generated various financial reports for review by Finance Manager on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Researched and resolved customer inquiries regarding billing issues.
  • Submitting monthly accounting reports to Certified Public Accountants
  • Payments processing, imprest management, financial reporting, financial planning, budgeting, and budgetary control

Kenya Revenue Authority is a government parastatal responsible for collecting revenues for the government of Kenya. I was posted in Kenya School of Revenue Administration (KESRA)- Mombasa Campus. During my internship, I was assigned the following duties;

  • Assist the team with general office duties including research, data entry, filing, etc
  • Participate in the unit's activities, including analysis of results, coordination of office activities, and preparation of sectional monthly reports
  • Received inquiry calls, recorded complaints, and made follow-ups on the complaints received
  • Support in research and consultancy administration and organize research defense schedules as per the research calendar
  • Issuance and analysis of research feedback forms from students
  • Held outstanding customer service by responding to customer and vendor inquiries, resolving any discrepancies in a timely and professional manner, and keeping the timeline of service level agreements (SLA)
  • Coordinating end-of-semester examinations for different courses and trainers' examination moderation and marking workshops

  • 03/03/2023, CURRENT, Kenya Malaria Youth Corps (KeMYC), Member, I am proud to say that I have joined the Kenya Malaria Youth Army with the purpose of becoming a passionate advocate for malaria in Kenya. This decision stems from my unwavering commitment to combat this devastating disease that affects millions of lives in our country. As a member of this dedicated army, I am driven to raise awareness about malaria, educate communities on prevention methods, and support efforts to provide access to vital resources and treatments. Through my advocacy work, I hope to contribute to a future where the burden of malaria is significantly reduced and the well-being of Kenyan citizens is safeguarded against this preventable and treatable disease. Together, with fellow members of the Kenya Malaria Youth Army, I am determined to make a lasting impact and bring about positive change in the fight against malaria.
