A self-motivated and dynamic clinical officer with a degree in clinical medicine, higher national diploma epidemiology, Diploma clinical medicine and undertaking master’s degree in public health. I am currently working as technical officer care and treatment in HIV care and treatment. I have a work record of (20 ) years’ experience in clinical care, research and programme implementation spearheading clinical research, public Health programs. More specifically, building capacity and training health care staff on antiretroviral therapy (ART), HIV/AIDS related programs through a clinical health systems mentorship approach. I have expertise in HIV/AIDS care and treatment, passion for paediatrics and adolescents, clinical medicine, TB, HIV, PMTCT/EID, strategic planning and implementation of health care programs, clinical research into HIV related illnesses and prevention among other key management issues. I have excelled in offering technical training, mentorship and implementation on programs regarding HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention. currently actively involved in overseeing the day-to-day planning and implementation of PMTCT, TB/HIV collaborative activities inclusive of MER within supported facilities in collaboration with the donor organizations and Ministry of Health. I am equally passionate about public management with emphasize being on identifying and controlling threats to public health, and to create policies which support public health and the development of healthy populations, health promotion and education, preventative health care, health inspections among others in matters to deal with HIV.
