BIOSYSTEMS ENGINEERING.
I have completed my fourth year of study in the course above from the University Of Nairobi. My passion for the above has led me to specialize in Water Engineering, Structural Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power and Machinery and Environmental Engineering which are disciplines offered within our 5 years of study, with a hope to give solutions to problems facing our society by providing creative, sustainable and environmentally conscious alternatives to what we already have.
Under Water Engineering, we develop methods of creatively and sustainably managing existing water resources while gaining the most utility from it.
Under Power and Machinery Engineering, our course is tailored to enable us to understand the operation, maintenance and repair of heavy machinery normally used in earth moving. Power implement relationships, transmission and power-trains designs fall under this category.
Under BE - Structures Engineering, we are equipped with skills and proficiency required to come up with durable structures.
With this comprehensive course in structures and geo technological designs, I am able to apply the knowledge of pre-stressing by use of pre - stressed reinforced concrete and play a role in similar projects that require engineering involvement through structural design and implementation.
Under Renewable Energy discipline, our focus is Solar Powered Systems, Design of solar powered Irrigation Schemes and to
provide clean energy alternatives to what we already have.
Under Environmental Engineering, we take a course in Environmental Impact assessment( approved by NEMA) that goes a long way in enabling me to be ready to work in Engineering environments while
consciously making decisions that are environmentally conscious.
I love travelling. Meeting new people and learning their culture and
adversity. Listening to classical music. Watching technological documentaries on integrated science, recent developments globally and nature.
