I did my internship at Comarco Base Company in two ships, Titan and Swift. Carried out all the maintenance work both in the engine room and deck area with the assistance of Chief Engineer George and Odhiambo. I acquired the skill of welding both vertical and horizontal, Gas cutting, grinding and painting. Opened different engines and studied how they work and function with the assistance of chief engineer Fred, opened a propeller and studied its parts. I went for dredging using a dredger machine during the construction of a bridge at the Dongo Kundu area.

Ajira Youth is a volunteer based company that was started to mainly create awareness to youth in the villages. It was introduced in Technical University of Mombasa in 2019 and I enrolled as a member. We were couched on how to help youth in the villages create job opportunities and fend for themselves, in July we visited Kwale area for a period of two months where we taught the youths in the area how to maneuver through the internet to create opportunities in fields such as Cyber. It was such an enjoyable experience as we also got to learn and acquire skills.
