  • Focal point officer for the Directorate of Quality Assurance and Standards in the Kenya Primary Literacy Programme (KPLP)
  • Oversees the day-to-day management of the department of research in the Directorate of Quality Assurance & Standards
  • The department focuses among others the improvement learning outcomes of students by ensuring Quality Assurance and Standards Officers (QASOs) are trained to carry out, literacy lesson observation as well as learner assessments in order to offer effective teacher support in KPLP
