  • Reviewed HR instruments in line with Public Service Commission guidelines with the help of SCAC
  • Prepared and negotiated Performance Contract for over 5 years on Behalf of New KCC with the parent ministry that recorded improved performance from POOR to GOOD
  • Over the 13 years at New KCC, I lead a team of both Management & Union (KUCFAN) in negotiated 2 & 4 year CBAs which were more progressing emphasizing on non-monetary clauses that saw less aggression on union demands, improved productivity and harmonious industrial relations which New KCC will enjoy for a very long time.
  • Lead review of corporate Strategic Plan for New KCC for over five years resulting into improved sales revenue from Kshs. 5.6B in 2012 to 9.4B in 2017
  • Organized a motivational speech for all new KCC staff that brought about change in attitudes and team-work.
  • Successfully presented and negotiated for Board approval a Job Evaluation report that had been shelved for over 3 years and implemented without a hitch. This led to New KCC being re-categorized by SCAC from grade 7C to 7A.
  • Successfully re-organized human capital and reduced annual wage bill by Kshs.7Million per annum
  • Developed and implemented a culture transformation program that reduced unhealthy departmental competition and fostered collaboration among employees.
  • Developed an employee handbook and reviewed all HR policies and procedures in line with ISO 9001:2008 standard.
  • Reviewed and simplified ways of work that ensured non-HR management team understood and executed human resource roles in their units seamlessly.
