For the last couple of years, i have been engaged in caring in North -West Kenya although i have previously been employed in other sectors and actually trained as an accountant.

Kitale is an area that is part of the former Rift Valley Province where many of Kenya's greatest athletes and marathon runners were born. I was born there and was brought up in a village near the town of Kitale where we welcome many foreingn tourists as well as our fellow citizens from other parts of Kenya.

I have been a caregiver since 2023 at Westside Hotels Kitale in the town of Kitale where many visitors spend their holidays and explore our beatiful land, including the Mt.Elgon National Park, Saiwa Swamp National Park sanctuary for the Sitatunga antelope and many others.

My duties at the hotel included:

Light housekeeping - Keeping the guests' rooms tidy and organized.

Companionship - Providing emotional support and engaging in activities with the guests.

Meal assistance - Helping with meal preparation or grocery shopping and accompanying guests into town.

Medical Management - Monitoring and assisting with medication schedules for our guests.
