Youth Mentor, Leadership & Public Speaking

I am a lady with a strong passion for education, leadership, and empowering learners. I am committed to creating engaging and supportive learning environments that inspire students to grow academically and personally.

Through my teaching practicum at Lulu Light Academy in Machakos, I gained valuable hands-on experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and applying learner-centered teaching approaches. This experience strengthened my ability to connect with students and deliver meaningful learning experiences.

Beyond academics, I actively volunteer in mentoring and teaching youth in church, which has enhanced my communication, leadership, and public speaking skills. My leadership journey began in high school where I served as the Head Girl and Christian Union Chairperson, and it continued at university where I served as the organizing secretary in Creative Ministry and eventually as the Creative Ministry Coordinator, working with teams to organize impactful programs and activities.

My key strengths include communication, planning and organization, leadership, public speaking, and research. I am passionate about continuous learning and dedicated to using education as a tool to inspire, guide, and positively impact the next generation.

Academic wise: I have completed all three education levels successfully with no indiscipline issue nor crime foul.

At Primary level: I finished my Kenya Certificate of Primary Education among the top three in our school

High Scool Level: I participated in the Mathematics and Science Contests as a representative among other team members.

I started off leadership as the dorm assistant and CU treasurer and winded up being a senior dorm captain, Headgirl and CU Chairperson

I managed to hold down the school as the school headgirl while doubling down as the CU Chairperson as well, after the Covid-19 break till I finished High School.

University Level: I have managed to coordinate a Christian Union Ministry in Campus ( Creative Ministry) for one term (A Year).

Alto Representative in the Kabarak University School Choir

I sat down in a constitution amendment committee (formed to amend the School of Education Constitution) as an education student.

Managed to attain a First Class Honors in this level of education

Home Church: I have managed to serve in the youth leadership committee since 2022.

I have assisted the youth pastor in teaching the youths in church a book: "Examining My Life" and seeing to it that they graduate.

Attachment: Managed to take part in Two teaching practices, one in 2025 and another in 2026, successfully.
